My high school band is going to NYC in May, and of course we are doing the essential stuff: seeing a broadway show, going to Central Park, seeing the Statue of Liberty/Time Square/Central Park/5th Avenue, trying to get on the Today Show, etc...but my friends and I want to know what are some little adventurous things for tourists to do that you can only do in NYC? For instance, since I come from an extremely small town- Hail a Taxi. None of us have ever done that before, and NYC is pretty infamous for taxis :) So New Yorkers...anything fun for a couple of high school tourists to do? want to share some New York secrets? and those who have visited NYC....what are some cool things you did? go iceskating, i dont know if that have that only around christmas or not with the rockafella tree but thats what i did, go see the statue of liberty, see ground zero, go shopping and thats pretty much all you can doWhat are some awesome things to do in NYC?
