What are some fun things to see/do in NYC on 3/5-3/7?

I'll be in town visiting on those days and I'm looking for fun activities and great restaurants. BTW the 5th is my B-day so any recommendations on the best dessert in town?! Any suggestions???What are some fun things to see/do in NYC on 3/5-3/7?
My favorite dessert is the creme brulee at Brasserie LCB (this is the reincarnation of the very famous New York restaurant, La Cote Basque. The food is very good - there is an early prix fixe dinner for $35 - lots of good choices (yes, the creme brulee is one of them).

Have you ever been to a dessert only restaurant? New York has a great one in the East Village. Chikalicious has wonderful desserts, but it's a very small space. (Be sure to check out the Black Hound Bakery around the corner - on Second Avenue and 10th Street. Great chocolates and other treats - sometimes there are free samples.

Be sure to see the East Village while you're here. There are so many interesting shops and boutiques; lots of inexpensive, uncommon ethnic restaurants. Be brave and try something completely different.

A bit out of the middle of things, but the best place for desserts is the Green Tree Hungarian, on Amsterdam Avenue just above 110 Street. The dobos alone will convince you Heaven has descended to Earth. A secondary choice would probably be Chocalicious downtown. Of course, you could go to FAO Schwartz for one of your fun things, and then drop into their ice cream parlor.

Catch the show at Radio City Music Hall and then some show in the theater district: Wicked, Spamalot, whatever. Thew nice thing here is they are within walking distance, and you'll pass a lot of great restaurants. Personally I like Indian, the hotter the better, but if you've never tried it, there is a very good Iranian restaurant (their food is not hot, if that frightens you). What are some fun things to see/do in NYC on 3/5-3/7?

Has a events calender, restaurants etc...

To much to do to list, although the old standbys are good...Statue of Liberty, South Street Seaport, Times Square,

Try Grimaldis Pizza in brooklyn. Best around. Walk over the brooklyn bridge. http://www.grimaldis.com/

Hop the N,Q,F,D to Coney Island and go to Nathans and the Aquarium plus the boardwalk.

Plenty of museums. Lots of clubs in NYC. If you are old enough, try Hogs and Heffers in the West Village. Go late, get drunk. Leave a donation. Lots of great restaurants around there.

Chumleys in the Village is great as well. Old speakeasy, no signs. Wander down Bleeker Street. Tyr the bars by NYU. Great Jazz in Village (w4/6Ave. Any F,V,E,A,C to W4) Great shops in the village.

Happy BD. Get a pic with the Naked Cowboy in Times Square.
