You could:

Get a tour at the UN - its been recently done up so it'd be all nice and new now.

You could go shopping at the Jersey Gardens shopping mall - New Jersey, get a bus from the Port Authoriy Station.

Go to Six Flags, New Jersey, again from the Port Authority.. It'd be about an hour and a half, but it's good.

You could get tickets to be an audience member on the Late Show with David Letterman or Jimmy Fallon, or Rachel Ray, Dr. Oz, Wendy Williams, etc.

Go to a Yankees Game up in the Bronx.

Visit Queens, wander around in the parks or Central Park on Manhattan...

Window shop down 5th Avenue

Go to Coney Island, Brooklyn, if the weather is good...

Take a ferry out to see the Statue of Liberty,

If you can afford it, take a helicopter ride over Manhattan, they're about $160 and up...

Movie Sites Guided Tour - for about $34 for 3 hours, get to see houses and places used in films and tv shows like Gossip Girl etc.Favorite places/activities in NYC?

A great way to see a whole bunch of different landmarks (as well as learn a few fun facts about the city) is to do a scavenger hunt! There are a few companies that put together these hunts for adults, and they always have great clues that lead you to cool NYC landmarks. I did one a while ago (I live here) and it was so much fun! You get to see a lot of "classic" New York places, but in a really different and fun way that makes the whole trip an event to remember (even going on the subway). Check it out!
