My brother is coming to the city and is not quite 21 yet! What are some cool things to do?

i.e. Nightlife, things that arent too touristy but are great experiences... little nooks that locals die for, cool spots that are unique even to the NYC resident... Things are worth doing even if it isnt glamorous... Foodie stuff, adventurous stuff... Great restuarants that don't break the bank or soley serve "filet mignon"... Unique cultural stuff... EVEN IN BROOKLYN AND QUEENS! I already know Sac's in Astoria Queens is good but anything better? The BEST pizza by the slice, Special street food? Things to do in Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Italy, Little India? Haha. Just about anything and everything worthwhile here? ANY suggestions are welcome! My brother is coming to the city and is not quite 21 yet! What are some cool things to do?
You guys could walk across the brooklyn bridge, and look for the waterfall (NYC has installed some waterfalls one is under the brooklyn bridge) you have to then walk around to the park on the brooklyn side to see the waterfall at the best view. http://events.nytimes.com/gst/nycguide.h鈥?/a>

In china town - you can go to elizabeth center which is 12 elizbeth st and has all these neat little chinese shops which are more for locals and not tourists. You should try bubble tea - at either teariffic

If he's coming this week you could try to still get a reservation to a restaurant during restaurant week - the week when NYC's top restaurants hold prix fixe menues - 25$ for lunch, 35$ for dinner. http://nycvisit.com/RestaurantWeek/

At night you could catch a show like comedy, or fuerzabruta which is the hottest dance show going on now (it's like cirque de soliel on acid and it gets you wet!!) http://fuerzabrutanyc.com/ it's amazing.

my favorite comedy venue is upright citizens brigade

i would always ask him first and for most is their anything that he really wants to do. take him shopping every boy loves shoes. or a tour of the city. a concert. take him skating. to the movies. to a musical that's if he likes it. last but not least look for any teen clubs or parties. even check out a real club they might have a teen night. My brother is coming to the city and is not quite 21 yet! take him to times square, have a picnic in central park, go shopping, or to a museum, or farmers market, take him to the top of empire state building, go to a play. as far a food goes its not hard to find a place thats cheap and delicious, you could even go to a culinary school cafeteria or a street vendor. take him to the library its free. take him to south street sea port especially for the views of the bridges and for the Bodies exhibit. the wtc site is right near there. take him to brooklyn to see the view of manhattan at night. go to chinatown just to walk around and look at all the sidewalk stands. go to a free concert or kayaking in the east river. take him on a historical tour.My brother is coming to the city and is not quite 21 yet!
