Things to do in nyc during the day?

Im going to the city tomorrow morning with my gf and i have no idea what were gna do! Help ME! it doesnt even have to be in the city it can be around or near the general area. THANK YOUThings to do in nyc during the day?
Go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art; there are tons of things to see there and you can't do it all in one day. It doesn't cost much.



Take the Staten Island ferry to Staten Island and back. It's free and you can get a nice look at the Statue of Liberty on the way.



Take a long walk through Central Park.



For a great view, go to the "Top of the Rock" at Rockefeller Center. I believe you have to pay to do this.



Find a restaurant with some ethnic food you don't usually try and try it.Things to do in nyc during the day?
There are many things to do in NYC:



1) Travel across 5th Avenue. Just this takes up almost the whole day. Spend your time window shopping, shopping, or having fun in stores like ToysRUs, F.A.O Schwartz, and the Apple Store. Then you can go to a restaurant when your finished.



2) Go see a play in Broadway (I recommend The Lion King).



3) Have a picnic or just stroll around in the area next to the Hudson River, especially at night, when the GW Bridge is lighted up and everything's calm.

If you have money you can go shopping or you can visit the tourist spots in the place.
