It depends who is going (like how old the people are going) But generally, places to visit would be rockefeller center, (where the christmas tree and ice skating is), times square, greenwich village, central park, soho, fashion avenue (lots of good shopping), china town, little italy... You can also experiment with dining, there are a lot of original places. I also reccomend maybe seeing some shows on broadway or not. My favorite is American Idiot, it is by far the greatest musical of all time, being that it is relevant, energetic, fun, and not an ordinary musical. Its not show tunes. Or if your more into classic musicals or plays you could check out those. You can also visit touristy places like the statue of liberty or the empire state building. There are endless possibilities. Just google it!
