The annual AIDS Walk will be this Sunday. I know that may not sound exciting, but everybody and their mother will be there. (Thousands of people participate.) Plus, a celebrity usually kicks off the opening ceremony, there are free snacks along the route, local radio stations come out and play music, and you get to take a great walk through NYC, from Central Park to Harlem to Riverside Park. It really is a good time. You can walk it for free or register as a participant for $25 and help out a good cause. The whole thing usually takes 3-4 hours.
And on the same day will be the 9th Avenue food festival. You shouldn't miss that.
Take a ride down to Brooklyn to see Coney Island and ride the Cyclone.

Also the Empire State Building is the best ever !!! NY public library, grand central terminal, St Patricks cathedral, central park... The list is endless so much to see and do, awesome city ;)
