I work from 7-10:30 in the city and would like to explore or do something fun and don't like getting drunk every night. So any anything from eats, to theater to concerts to late night festivities.What fun things are there to do in NYC after 10:30pm that is not just going to a bar?
Its one of the few places you can catch a movie after 10:30.
Barnes and Noble at 66th and Broadway by Lincoln Center is open till Midnight.
Lots of people take trains out of Penn Station and Grand Central late you might meet someone there.
Take a train to the Upper East or Upper West Side and grab a cheap hot dog and walk around
Ride the Roosevelt Island Tram or the Staten Island Ferry
People watch at Columbus Circle or Times Square
Do some shopping at Duane Reade or Walgreens
Check out hotel lobbys at the Waldorf, Marriott Marquis, Grand Hyatt, etc.

14th St union sq - lots of people hanging out and things to see.
42nd st time sq - people, lights, lights and more lights!

Free concerts
Time square is only good until about 12:30am - 1:00am. You should try Soho or Greenwich Village. I would rather Soho if I had to choose.
