Thankyouuu(:Things to do in NYC in February?
Even though you think you are too old at 15 for these shops i would recommend Toys'r'us times square as its amazing! Go on
the indoor Ferris Wheel as well as that is something different, also the Disney Store (if you are a girl as 15 yr old boys
are obviously different) im 20 and loved both them shops.
M%26amp;M's world is a must, most people say its expensive however i didn't think it was bad value.
There are plenty of shoe/trainer shops.
Clothing - Personally i wanted to go to Ed Hardy which NYC's flagship store is in SoHo, if you do go to SoHo dont get the red
line train if you get the subway as you then have to walk through Canal Street which wasn't a pleasant experience with
myself, my parents and my two younger brothers. Get the subway that will lead you to a part of Broadway which will have other
good shops and places like Ed Hardy are a two minute SAFE walk.
Other places to visit;
* Statue of Liberty
* Empire State Building
* Central Park - check what parts you want to see as it is massive!
* Times Square
* Where the twin towers were and the 9/11 museum (well worth visiting) Century 21 is right by there as well which is a major
department store and sell clothing and perfume/aftershave at very good prices.
* Wall Street and the Wall Street Bull
If you have time do a Broadway showThings to do in NYC in February?
Hi, Katie, February is really not a good time for visiting NYC. it will be one of the coldest months, though much cheaper and not that crowded. but you can' t stay out for long time because of the cold. some attraction will be closed in winter. anyway, bargain accommodations and discount flights may make it up for you.
apart from those well-known attractions like Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Central Park as well as the many museums and art galleries, Chinese Lunar New Year also occurs at this period. the Chinatown will be a world of red, Asian people would celebrate it in an unique way. that is a good chance to get to know about Chinese culture and traditions, floats, marching bands, lion dance and dragon dances.....and also is the Valentine's Day, you can go to some parks and romantic clubs and bars, the air still is filled with the smell of romanticism. by the way, i think ice skating will be very interest, especially if you are free the south and don't see such spectacular scene before. since i don't know the exact date of your arriving and departing, i can only give you some general info. hotels and restaurants will also lower their price as few people come at this time of the year. there are more attraction and hotel info here, hope it can help you.
