I'm on Spring break right now and I'm a college student so I seriously have NO MONEY

I don't want to sit at home all day and do nothing.

On Friday nights from 4-8p.m. the Moma(Metropolitan Museum of Art) is free.

The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens is free of Tuesday and/or Fridays(sorry, not sure).

Staten Island museum is free on Tuesdays from 12-2p.m.

Bronx zoo- admission by donation(whatever you can afford) on wednesdays.

American Craft Museum- pay what you with(like the above) from 6-8p.m. on Thursdays.

American Folk Art Museum- free on Fridays from 5:30-7:30p.m.

Asia Society and Museum- free on fridays from 6-9p.m.

Guggenheim Museum- free on fridays(pay what you wish) from 5:45 to 8:00 p.m.

Museum of the Moving Image- free of fridays from 4-8 p.m.

Whitney Museum of American Art- pay what you wish fridays from 6-9p.m.

The Jewish Museum- free on Saturdays from 11a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Museum of the City of New York- free on Sundays from 10a.m. to 12p.m.

There's a lot to do really. Like others have said, Central Park is always free. Some of the museums are free or discounted on certain nights if you go after a certain time. That can vary, so you'd have to check out the museums' websites. Galleries downtown are usually free. Go to the TKTS booth to find Broadway show tickets at a discount since they are same day tickets. There are concerts and plays that are free or very cheap if you look for them. Pick up the Voice and check through the events section. Pick up Time Out and check their events section as well.

That's a tough situation.In this world, NOTHING is free.Since you don't have any money, get a job. McDonalds or something. Visit a friend. Do some volenteer work (looks great on a resume) Study.

If all fails, find a way to get money.

You can walk through Central Park for free. Macy's in Herald Square is having its annual Flower Show. It's beautiful, and you don't have to buy anything in order to enjoy it.

Libraries are free, as are some museums.
