Every city has a historical site...and I know NYC has the Empire State Building, and all of that, but im not interested in that.
Where are the FUN places to go? Like unique boutiques to shop? Good authentic Italian Food or mom and pop shops?
Fun night clubs and bars? any burrough?

Try New York Magazine, Zagets Madison Ave from 61st to 72nd streets for shops(expensive). Washington Sq. for scenery, Meat packing district -for celebreties Arthur Ave. Bronx try Marios Italian food. Katz Deli and Yerm Schimmels
