For New Yorkers only!!! What are some fun things to do in NYC?

Now I don't want to go to any touristy type place. No Statue of Liberty or museums. I've done all that. I've been here for a long while and I want to do something cheap and fun and adventurous. Anyone have any ideas?For New Yorkers only!!! What are some fun things to do in NYC?
Free kayaking on the Hudson in the summer (around 72nd st), boating in Central Park near the boathouse - walk all over Central Park - go through the ramble, shakespeare garden, literary walk, coney island/brighton beach, brooklyn aquarium, try food! Flushing, better than chinatown, and cheap too! hm...too many thiings. concerts - check out lincoln center, jazz? cleo's needle on 90th.For New Yorkers only!!! What are some fun things to do in NYC?

Take a cheap digital Camera and take post card photos of lesser visited sites.

Been to the Cloisters ? Grants Tomb ? Seen the Botanical Garden representation of NYC made from plant and trees materials and the train set that runs through it ?

Flying lesson at Republic Airport in Farmingdale ? Nassau Flyers gives lessons, take one.

Paintball in Long Island City

Museum of the American Indian at Bowling Green. FREE.



The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is also FREE until March.



Grants Tomb is Free.



The Bronx Zoo is donation only on Wednesdays.



The Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Riverside Church both have inexpensive tours. Or you can just go in and take in the sights. Also a good place to visit and right on 5th Ave, is St Patricks Cathedral.



Want a good view of the Statue of Liberty? Take the Staten Island Ferry. And it's free too.

I always have a great time in Washington Park. There are many things going on all the time and many students from NYU, doing fun stuff.
