I'm having my birthday party in NYC with about 10 of my friends. What are some fun things to do??? (Besides going to a restaurant or going to central park or mall shopping)Fun things for teens in NYC?
Go up the Rockefeller at night..i went with my family recently %26amp; found the Rockefeller is better than the Empire state as at the empire state there is nothing just the views %26amp; ques!! %26amp; at the Rockefeller the lift is awesome %26amp; there is a mini movie there it's really good! %26amp; no Ques!
Also Times Square is good, Central Park, Shopping, Pier 17 is great!!! if you get a hop on hop off bus tour its on the down town loop by the sea/ river front! it's amazing there good shops %26amp; by the sea..maybe a take a boat trip around the Statue of liberty %26amp; top the tan up (if you go in summer) or ground zero!Fun things for teens in NYC?
check www.citysearch.com
They have a lot of good suggestions for teens.
There are so many things to do in NYC. You just want to make sure to be safe cause there are alot of crazy's around.
Time Square is great but not a lot to do, but if your lucky MTV will be doing something down there!
5th Avenue is a good 1/2 day worth of sight seeing and shopping.
There's the sex and the city tour
I love grenetch village and little italy and all those little places.
Statue of Liberty is very disappointing.
Take a night time horse drawn carriage ride in central park. VERY COOL.
Go online and plan out your trip cause it will make it easier and you won't look like too much of a tourist!
Don't be scared fo the subways, much cheaper then taxis!Fun things for teens in NYC?
Times Square, Chinatown, there are so many options.............
i am a (teen) too and i live here, so obviuosly i hang out here lol
but anyways, all i do is walk around and talk
just walking is enough for us
occasionally we go shopping (back to school)

you can go to chinatown they have awesome souvenirs and so much to look at really inexpenisive (or not depending) there is also a temple there were you can have your fortune read... also there is the best bubble tea there and even ice cream that would give coldstone a run for its money ...
then theres little italy which is really good for food and more shopping its literally right off of chinatown...
soho and noho are really cool just to walk around and look around i dont know why but you cant get bored walking around nyc
you can watch a show on broadway.... go to a movie
fao schwartz and toys r us are sooo much fun seriously its like a theme park
there are also so many comedy clubs
and then theres tribeca where the short films are awesome and you never know you might see a movie there that will be in the movies so thats always pretty cool
then there are tons of museums and if you want to get wet (i know um wet???? lol) in chelsea they have kayaking which is actually free ! all you have to do is know how to swim...
oh and depending how old you're turning 16 and up alot are 18 but there are some cool music venues and clubs...
hope this helps :) and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
ICE SKATING AT ROCKFELLER CENTER! especially if you're going with friends! if i were you, i'd buy a lesson/ get a reservation, so that you dont have to wait in a HUGE line. They have rental skates there %26amp; the ice is very soft, so anyone can skate. I did it for my last birthday %26amp; it was the best day ever! have fun.
omg i go there all the time! i love NYC! so the best is to go to chinatown and get Louis Vuitton knock off bags! they look exactly like Louis Vuitton but so much cheaper!
chinatown is really fun! also NYC has great shoe stores! plus it looks great at night! travel NYC at night too!
