Fun things to do in nyc for 13 birthday?

what are some fun things to do? i am going with my mom. i was thinking about going shopping on 5th ave, a walk through central park, get my picture drawn by an artist, and dinner at the plaza hotel. is there anything else that would be fun? my birthday is november 7. nothing too touristy. we go to nyc a lot. thanks!!!Fun things to do in nyc for 13 birthday?
= Even though you think you are too old at 15 for these shops i would recommend Toys'r'us times square as its amazing! Go on the indoor Ferris Wheel as well as that is something different, also the Disney Store (if you are a girl as 15 yr old boys are obviously different) im 20 and loved both them shops.

M%26amp;M's world is a must, most people say its expensive however i didn't think it was bad value.

There are plenty of shoe/trainer shops.

Clothing - Personally i wanted to go to Ed Hardy which NYC's flagship store is in SoHo, if you do go to SoHo dont get the red line train if you get the subway as you then have to walk through Canal Street which wasn't a pleasant experience with myself, my parents and my two younger brothers. Get the subway that will lead you to a part of Broadway which will have other good shops and places like Ed Hardy are a two minute SAFE walk.

Other places to visit;

* Statue of Liberty

* Empire State Building

* Central Park - check what parts you want to see as it is massive!

* Times Square

* Where the twin towers were and the 9/11 museum (well worth visiting) Century 21 is right by there as well which is a major department store and sell clothing and perfume/aftershave at very good prices.

* Wall Street and the Wall Street Bull

Dining

Times Square offers some great dining from hometown favorites like Chevy's (corner of 42nd and Eighth), TGI Fridays (1680 Broadway) and Olive Garden (43rd and Broadway) as well as some unique alternatives like Ruby Foo's (Broadway and 50th) for some unique (but pricey) Asian food and Bistro 43 (43rd Street between Seventh and Eighth), a great French spot.

- Rockefeller Center

In the winter, you can ice skate with all of the other throngs of people. In the summer, you can enjoy outdoor dining, a stop at the Museum of Modern Art store or a sandwich from the legendary Dean %26amp; Deluca.Fun things to do in nyc for 13 birthday?
Go bowling at Chelsea Pears. Lots of food selection and fun. But your plan sounds fun. There's to much to do in Manhattan to point out.Fun things to do in nyc for 13 birthday?
That all sounds fun.
