We've booked our Rockettes Christmas Spectacular tickets and we're looking for LOTS of ideas for things to do...christmas things! We only have 4 days and want to fit in as much as possible so any advice is much appreciated.
Also yes I know its like 6 months away but I've been dreaming of Christmas time in NYC since I was a child and really want it to be a great trip! My bf is sorry he ever agreed to this!! lol
Thanks in advance!Things to do in NYC at Christmas?

Well, since you're going to Radio City Music Hall already, you of course have to go to nearby Rockefeller Center to see the huge Christmas tree. That's a must. And if you like you can go ice skating in the rink there.
What I would recommend instead? Walk down to Bryant Park on 42nd and 6th Avenue and go ice skating in The Pond. (Only there during Christmas time.) It's free except for skate rental. And the rink is surrounded by the holiday market, where you can buy goods from local vendors (I've bought some awesome handmade Christmas tree ornaments there) and hot chocolate or cider.
There's also a holiday market in Central Park on the corner of 59th Street and Columbus Circle.
There's a church in the Village (sorry, I forget the name of it) where you can sign up to go Christmas caroling around the neighborhood. They provide the hot chocolate. (You can probably find this online a little closer to your trip.)
If you look on the New York Cares website around that time, you'll find lots of Christmastime volunteer opportunities to be part of--helping to wrap presents for kids in shelters, helping with the coat drive, stuff like that.
Oh! Also around that time, in Grand Central Terminal, they usually have their train show--you know, those model trains with tiny villages all around them, etc. It's pretty impressive.
You must go over to the Macy's on 34th street and see their window displays. People line up to see them. They're incredible.
