Wat are some fun, inexpensive things to do while in NYC during Dec and Jan?

During winter break my friends and I want to go to NYC. We all get home on December 16th. Right now we're thinking about going on a weekend but a weekday might not be too bad. (Note: We can't go on New Years)



What are some inexpensive yet fun things 5 mostly broke college students can do in NYC this time of year?

I took my fiance to NYC last year in Dec., cause he's from Buffalo and I'm from LI. We're doing it again this year. What we did last year and this year was map out a bunch of places, with the street intersections and whatnot, just to make things easier (cause I don't like walking around in circles, and backtracking to get to another place). There's the tree to see, skating at Rockefeller, going through the NBC store, Toys R Us is always fun to visit right off of Broadway. To eat, there's this restaurant, called Stage Door, about a block down from Penn Station. It's got AMAZING food, for a very good price. My fiance and I had a better meal there than at Bobby Flay's Bar Americain. There's also Macy's store front that you guys should see, FAO Schwarz. There's lots to do. visit all of the borough of Manhattan its the best Ur gonna be so impress of the huge buildings and people as well lol im not lying.

Walk the town. Eat where the locals go. Visit Central Park. Scream at the TRL live recording. Take the Subway .
