What are some romantic things I could do in NYC with my gf?

I'm taking my gf out to dinner in NYC but i want to do other things during the day.... any suggestions?What are some romantic things I could do in NYC with my gf?
Since it is "crazy cold" you can Go to Toys “R” Us and ride the 60 foot indoor Ferris Wheel. Since it is indoors, you both will keep warm. When you are both done, you can have your photos taken and have it displayed on the marquee (a jumbo screen outside) for all of New York to see when they pass by. You can even use you camera too and get a pic of it or yourself to show family and friends.



Dress warm and go roller skating or take a nice long stroll through Fort Tyron Park. It is about six miles away from Central Park and won't have much of the "touristy" crowd. There are even places there to have an outdoor lunch as well.



Are you on a budget? For just $10 each, you two and have fun all day. It's perfect if yo are spending hundreds on a hotel and want to keep other expenses down.

Definitely skip the horse and carriage ride. The horses are so sad looking and the price for a short ride is high. When we were there last July we noticed many of the drivers not even holding the reins and several of them talking loudly on cellphones as they pulled tourists by. I'm not sure how that is "romantic".



How about taking her to Top of the Rock at sunset for an amazing view. You could watch the city light up and then head out for dinner.What are some romantic things I could do in NYC with my gf?
