Things to do in NYC for a first date type thing!?

I've been talking to this guy for a couple of months and we're finally going to meet up in NYC. He's never been to NYC before so I really wanted to plan a "fun day". He says he wants to try new things and is pretty much game for anything...I know there are lots of fun and creative things to do in NYC...so looking for some cool interesting suggestions...thanks everyone for your input in advance!Things to do in NYC for a first date type thing!?
I'd never been to New York, but I would love to go up the statue.

Try one of the museums which are in walking distance to Central Park... then have a quite picnic (if the weather cooperates) afterward...
