What are some fun things to do in NYC with friends?

i'm 17 and just moved into the city from yonkers. i'm not a tourist so i dont want to do things like go to time square. i need things to do during the night. teen clubs? good restaurants? i live on the upper west side. also, i love stuff around soho, west village, bleecker street. any ideas??What are some fun things to do in NYC with friends?
What do you think you are Blair Waldorf from the Gossip Girls. I'm pretty sure, real life isn't as exciting, so I would just red book/follow show, and just read Paris Hilton's Twitter and live your life through her. How on earth did you just move in? Wow, anyway, maybe you are a gossip girl! In that case, be sure to write a book about all the fun you find! Oh and you should be studying for school, 'cause college is knocking on your door, so I expect SAT's and are you talking AP Classes! I took AP Biology and got a C, don't do that. Also, make sure you do extracurricular, college admissions love rha. You should get yourself to Barnes and Noble and go to the Study Guides section where the SAT books are and read up there. Then read through this book about College entrance essays. Very insightful. Also, by September of your senior year in High school, you should already have your college stuff sent. So that by Christmas you know where you're going.



*Just went through high school, and wanna make sure you do well, AS WELL AS partying. Besides, you'[ll party harder in college. Oh and it'll be cool if you get accepted to a really good college, like a niceNortheastern college, and then you can live the life of that one chick from the Gossip Girl series... hmm... can't rememer her name. College is way better. You should go to a nice private college in the NOrtheast. It'll have like dorms and chapel and you'll have to dress up to go to these dinners.What are some fun things to do in NYC with friends?
Since you don't want to do the touristy things because you're a NY resident, here's some things that you can do for fun with your friends:



- Go shopping (34th Street, Manhattan Mall on 32nd Street and 6th Avenue, etc.). While shopping, get a complimentary make-over at the make-up counter in Macy's or Bloomingdales. :)



- Go bowling. Chelsea Piers has a great bowling alley that has the "feel" of a club because it's almost completely dark, the balls glow in the dark and the music is blasting.



-If you haven't already done so, go ice skating. That's always a fun thing to do during this time of year. There are couple of rinks to choose from (Central Park, Bryant Park or Rockefeller Center)
