What are some things to do in nyc?

im going to new york with my best friends for my sweet 16th in like a month. what are some good non-touristy things to do and places to shop and eat?What are some things to do in nyc?
I love doing non-tourist things in NY!!



Here are some amazing places to eat and areas to explore.



1. Greenwich Village at Bedford %26amp; Grove you may recognize the FRIENDS tv show bldg. a little cafe called 'Little Owl' they have amazing food. very quaint and an overall amazing area.



2. W.82nd %26amp; Amsterdam In the Upper West Side Cafe Lalo you may have seen ' You've got mail' where Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan met. Great cheese cake. try the mimosa. great french deserts. and great staff also. amazing little cafe. 1880's style.



3. Just a hop skip and a jump from 'Little Owl' In the west Village go to Cafe Angelique on Bleecker. great food. try the chocolate croissant and a late (they do the cool design on top)What are some things to do in nyc?
In Greenwich Village, Bianca's on Bleecker and the Bowery - Very good Italian food - prices are excellent - I don't think they have anything over $15.



Celeste, on the Upper West Side on Amsterdam and 84th - great bargain - excellent Italian food - prices are very reasonable - nothing more than $15, service is pleasant - a really nice place.



La Bonne Soup has great soups, omelets, salads. Meals are very reasonable and a lot of them come with a glass of wine. If you go here, see if you can get one of the tables on the outside "balcony" - great people watching.What are some things to do in nyc?

Grimaldis Pizza in Brooklyn,ice cream factory,Apollo Theater,Harlem shop street,Brooklyn Bridge and Chinatown are some good places for you.
