What are some fun things to do while in NYC?

I'm going for my birthday next month. And i've been there before, about 10-15 times. I'd like to stay around times square, because that's my favorite. But i've been there a lot, so i've seen all the main things. Such as the virgin megastore, the 5-story toys r us, the m%26amp;m store, the hershey store. I'm looking for other things. I was thinking about going to the wax figure museum but i'm not really sure. I want to see some other options.What are some fun things to do while in NYC?
