Native New Yorker gave you a great answer. As far as getting around, use public transportation. The taxis are expensive and you'll just sit in traffic while the meter runs. Go to the MTA website (http://mta.info/) for information on NYC mass transit for Bus and Subway maps online and MetroCards (for paying fares).Any tips about things to see in NYC or anything related to NYC?
You should check with the Department of Tourism there. Also, the Chamber of Commerce would provide excellent information that would be of help to you. I wish you and brother a most enjoyable trip. Peace!Any tips about things to see in NYC or anything related to NYC?
