Hey folks, goin to NYC in October with some mates for 10 days, I've never been before and I'm majorly excited.

I will of course be goin to all the normal touristy spots, The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building etc, but I'm lookin for your top five (or even top one) suggestions for things to do in NYC off the beaten track.

I'm lookin to have the New Yorker's experience, so I'm not really pushed to do the everyday stuff.
