My friends and I are going into NYC this Saturday, and will be in the city for about six hours. We're poor college students who are only 19, so bars aren't an option, and neither is an all day shopping spree. Though I would be totally open to spending the day in a museum or two, I think my three friends would be less willing. Always walk around the tourists spors in Manhattan. Walking is free and you can get pictures of a lot of things while you are here.
Take a ride around the subway to see what us native New Yorkers go through everyday.
Museums really aren't a good idea since you will only be here for 6 hours. The museums aren't cheap to see, plus there are always very long lines to get in on weekens (especially this time of year), plus it takes a lot of time to see everything in the museums here.
