My friend and I are planning a trip up to New York City and this is my first time going. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what to see.Any suggestions for things to do in NYC?

There is everything to do in NYC! The Statue of Liberty, of course. Go to Times Square, and there are tons of stores and restaurants and Broadway! Central Park is really cool, it's a huge public park in the middle of all the buildings and skyscrapers.
There are plenty of things to do in New York City.
