Friday evenings are free at some museums. Museum of Modern Art, Morgan Library, Ruben Museum,

Pay what you wish at the Whitney Friday evening, Pay what you wish at Metropolitan Museum of Art and Museum of Natural History at all times.

Cheap food , early bird special at Dallas BBQ, Papya King (2dogs and a drink $4) Asian on Bleeker just east of 7th ave $5 mixed drinks and the food is ok.

Wear comfortable shoes and warm socks.
